Unfourtuantly, I cannot speak German, so this plugin only works for English. However, I'm quite sure that it can be modified for other languages :).
I've had this addon for around 6 months or so, when I got a chatroom suspended from someone swearing. I've seen some chatrooms use smileys to filter words, but you can avoid the smiley system. This system is theoretically unavoidable.
Plus, this addon can be modified to be used for more than just messages. It can be used for other templates as well, which is great :).
