The neat addon attached to this post was written by Norman Roth, one of the knowledgeable contributors on the German board and works very well to ban a nasty user from your v0.95 chat room.
I've translated and included some instructions in the .zip file.
A chatmaster would simply use one of three commands to ban, un-ban, or view bans in the chat e.g., /lock nick reason, /unlock nick, and /viewlock.
Be sure and make a backup copy of your english.lng & Settings.dat files before attempting to apply this addon, just in case. And finally read to the bottom of the eng-install.txt, and update your command permissions.
